same genes?!
....hold out hope for our country and the human race. In the
U.S., slavery was legal less than 150 years ago, women gained the right to
vote less than 100 years ago, schools were racially integrated only 45 years
ago, and the casualties in Vietnam and Laos were in the tens of thousands of
Americans and millions of Southeast Asians. The push-pull ebb-and-flow of
progress / conservatism may make us look like we're going back in time, but
the pendulum will swing again in the direction of progress and growth....
