BUT ALL ABOUT TRUTH NOW
SO HERE GOES

it was monday
i was grocery shopping
diet coke, sprite zero
superfood, v8 low sodium
sugar free popsicles
the neccesities
for a guy to get by
without a car 2 go
2 da grocery bi weekly

i'm walking down some random isle
in pavillions
melrose and vine
ps monday is the worse day to grocery shop
fyi

she stops me
wow u got all
the good stuff
she says

i respond glibly
yea just the neccesities
we talk for a while
meaningless shit
i thought 2 myself
at the time

everything happens 4 a reason
i constanly am reminding myself
of just this fact
whatever

i had to call a cab
2 take me home
i went overboard
with the groceries
sales and what not
had like 10 bags full
$120 in food stuff
big buy for this non food shoper

got home in the cab
who didn't help me with the bags
at all -- after i tipped him 5 bucks
la for ya, fast and true

in the elevator
a nice dude
who lives a floor above me
helped me to my apartment
we talked, shot the shit
nothing serious
but a truly nice fellow
i thought as i shut my door
behind him

life
