somtimes so difficult
looking people in the eye
and processing what they say
really listening
finding intrest
is hard at times
if you deny this
you are a liar
and you suck

it's inate in us all
to say "that's interesting"
not meaning it
but a desperate attempt
to validate what someone
just said 2 u while u
didn't even listen

hearing and listening
2 differnt fields 4 sure
my new favorite band
jump, little children
i listen to their songs
i hear the lyrics
powerful
palpable
or popable
as rosie mis-understood me
back in the day
thought i was saying her turth
one could pop as superficial

funny how we read what we want to
see what we want to see
reality is such a funny thing
as we all experience
