i saw it two weeks ago
a screener copy i was lucky to get
i watched three times in a row
shedding a life time of tears
i tried to watch it air last night
live for the nation -- but could not
it will affect me always
should be required viewing for all
especially billy....dance billy, dance!

today was a day of change
old friends came knocking on my door
i answered, forgiveness abound
and i turned a knew leaf
actually confronting this issue
i've had my whole life
an issue so many men and women face
my ass and the taylor "a cups"
gone forever
this i affirm to you all today

now my mind is empty
no words, shockingly enough
i wrote three pages of material
for the dream of late i call my act
instead of the 8 pages i'm still workin' toward
due tommorow at antioch
the school i am so proud to attend
